Can anyone say S-T-I-N-K-Y ??? I don't know why fish sauce is always required for alot of southeast asian soups, but oh boy does it STINK. Stinks like a hole-in-the-wall dirty asian supermarket/restaurant. (Oh wait, maybe that's why they smell that way.. the fish sauce?) Uck. I don't ever want my kitchen to smell like fish sauce [enter retching noise here]. Major BLECH factor.
