Full Weekend
We definately had a full weekend! Glad to be back up, but sad that we had to leave. Our trip down was definately needed and very refreshing for us - seeing family and friends as well as having a change of scenery. I think each night we averaged 7 hours of sleep; usually starting at 3am and waking up around 9 or 10am. We didn't get as much personal time as we would have liked, but that's ok. We got to see old friends, and that was uplifting in itself. We also took several trips down to Seaside to check out the in-laws' new house - very nice!! We'll definately be visiting the Monterey area more often as they slowly move in to that area.
We also went to visit our old church (CCIC South Valley) that we used to attend together as a couple. We didn't get a chance to see alot of our friends there (most of them were out of the country doing various short-terms) but we did get a chance to hear Thomas speak. I was blessed by his sermon (good job, Thomas). Hehe
As usual, the inlaws fed us plenty (almost too well). (My FIL mentioned to me how Hubby looked like he had gained weight, and how my brother looked like he had lost weight.) I'm feeling alot more at ease with my inlaws and more like I'm part of their family (yes, that's a good feeling). =)
