Pilates

The other day I was working out, I decided to change up my routine to make things interesting. So I popped in a pilates DVD (I had bought one awhile back but never got around to trying it out) and did the first 5 minutes of it. It was a very beginning elementary routine, and just with very few slight movements. The reason I only did 5 minutes was that I thought it was super boring, slow, and a waste of time (they aren't big on reps, but rather, quality formation instead). Disappointed, I stopped the DVD after 5 minutes of it, thinking I had wasted $9.99.

Today, however, I realized that my abs were a bit achy (imagine my surprise!!). It made me think twice about the DVD. Maybe I'll take another stab at it...

P.S. I just finished this book (in one sitting) and found it hilarious.
