Friday Five...

1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most?
It used to be toliets and tubs. Now, I don't mind the toliets as much, because its less surface area than the tub. And now I have THREE bathrooms to regularly maintain, so this gets really annoying. Come to think of it, there's an awful lot of carpet areas and tile areas to vacuum/mop too. I just hate household chores in general (never really liked it). It was already a struggle to keep my tiny one-bedroom apt clean when I was in grad school, so imagine me doing a 2500 sq ft house. Blech.

2. Are there any that you like or don't mind doing?
Laundry. It's almost like baking - you stick it all in a major appliance and let it do its thing, and when its done, you take it out. I'm a low-maintanence kinda gal. But all that handwashing stuff, sometimes it piles up because I get lazy...

3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it's needed?
I try my best to do at least one general cleaning of everything once a month. But with all the guests that come over, it tends to be a "clean as need be" basis...

4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules?
Absolutely no shoes on the carpet! And I don't let Wayne (or anyone else for that matter) do my own laundry. My own laundry is so personal, and I'm so nitpicky with how its done, and if you screw up my clothes, I'll be upset.

5. What is the last thing you cleaned?
I mopped two days ago. But the guys went all over it Wednesday night, and then the girls Thursday night. And then when Wayne was loading the dishwasher, he spilled something in the kitchen floor. SIGH.
