Friday Five...

1. Are you going to school this year?
Nope (thank goodness)!

2. If yes, where are you going (high school, college, etc.)? If no, when did you graduate?
Lynbrook High in '95; UCD in '99, and Sac State in '03.

3. What are/were your favorite school subjects?
English. Especially the creative type where they don't force you to write according to a particular form. I hate feeling restricted like that.

4. What are/were your least favorite school subjects?
Math was ok, until I got to calc. Loved bio, even upper division physio (even though I got a D). Which leaves O Chem and Physics. BLECH.

5. Have you ever had a favorite teacher? Why was he/she a favorite?
Don't have a particular teacher that was my absolute favorite, but several stick in my mind as being influencial. It usually takes more than just presence to catch a kid's eye, but their example, approachability, and ability to motivate and inspire through friendship and mentoring.
