Been tinkering with the html on this blogger. Added a sitemeter, and a comments ("shout out") component to each blog. I have no idea why they label it "shout out". Sounds stupid... and I'm trying to tinker with the html to change that to something less lame sounding. I'm also thinking about eliminating the guestbook (that's lame too) and sticking in a links section for other people's websites (are you happy Priscilla?) =D There's no need for a guestbook if this shout out thingie is going to work....
Okay, so back to my life. Last night Wayne and I went to CAT. It's always nice to go together (we rarely do, since Wayne works such erratic hours). I think he had quite a depressing day himself (I wasn't the only one missing him). It was probably because he was talking to G the other night, and it got him down the next day. Anyways, this was Mark's last week as Bible Study Coordinator. I picked up some subtle hints on where people are at with Romans, and how the next couple months will probably go. I also noticed the effects of some bad attitudes (see 9/29's entry) and how it affected (and ruined) the perspectives of some new believers (law vs. grace). What a shame. Wayne and I had a talk about how to subtly mention these issues to the erring parties on the way back home.
As for today, its a shorter work day (by one hour). I have to be home since the A/C repairman will be over at noon. Our A/C has been broken for nearly a month now -- which means during Sacramento's +100 degree weather the past week, we were suffering in the heat. And now that the weather is starting to cool down, the A/C people FINALLY come over to fix it. I give up. *sigh*
