I was true to my word today and did my best to not let anything cross me the wrong way. I'm never good with comebacks at the appropriate time, and especially when I am anticipating a rude comment in advance, and have hours to think of brilliant ways of defending myself and striking back in the sharpest way possible... yet when the moment comes, I am totally speechless, defenseless, and a babbling smiling idiot. So today, as those moments came, I completely ignored them (and the individuals themselves).

Took the day to reflect where I was at, where I'm currently at, and where I'm headed. After having almost 7 months of marriage under my belt, the dust has finally settled and now I can take a good look at where I'm at on the map. And where I want to be. I miss being spiritually aggressive. Trying to get back into the groove of things. But sometimes I feel like my feet are full of lead... and then I realize that I can't just think for myself anymore... I'm no longer single.

On another note, Wayne took me to see Two Weeks Notice to cheer me up. I had alot of expectations, since I personally like Sandra Bullock (not many leading ladies can do physical comedy like her). But it was Terrible with a capital T. I would much rather watch JLo in "Maid in Manhatten" again (and I didn't think that movie was all that hot either -- but compared to "Two Weeks Notice", I'd watch "Maid" all over again). I was so disappointed.

I think overall I'm just disappointed that as a couple, we are just "surviving". I want to do more than just survive. But with what we've got on our plate, I guess I shouldn't try to demand too much. Wayne always says I try too hard to shoot for the moon. Maybe when intern year is over, together we'll try for the moon. =)
