Friday Five!
So yesterday J came over. Loved the rasberry vignagrette and the company. Later, C came over too. He ended up bringing over guitar strings and will probably put them on later. Ok, off to Friday Five time...
1. When was the last time you cheated?
Gosh. I guess its time to fess up. I stole a peek at a neighbor's paper during a bio final. And changed my answer right in front of a TA. Who didn't catch me.
2. When was the last time you stole?
I'm not much of a thief, but I do remember a couple things I stole from stores as a kid. From California Stationaries (on the corner of Saratoga and Prospect) I took a couple felt tip pens (I still have one of them, and I still use it). And from a grocery store, I took a bunch of candy. Among my family, I'm notorious for stealing pens. But I don't do it anymore. Really.
3. When was the last time you lied?
Hmmm. Don't remember that either - although most of my "lies" are of the white kind. Like, if I don't feel like going out or doing something, but don't want everyone to make a big deal about it, maybe I'll say I'm sick and people will shut up about it. Or if Wayne and I are having a private moment and someone calls and totally interrupts and asks us what we're doing, we'll probably lie about it (yes, that's happened quite a few times, sorry if this is TMI). Which reminds me of the ULTIMATE moment when N called us on our WEDDING NIGHT (can you believe that?!). But instead of strangling him and telling him exactly what he was interrupting, we were nice about it and lied. I'm sure you all needed to hear all of this stuff, right? Hehe.
4. When was the last time you broke or vandalized another's property?
On purpose? Or on accident? [wicked grin] Just kidding. The last time I did something like that on purpose was probably when I was younger and I was fighting with my brother. I poured liquid soap all over his pillow as a surprise. You know, the bad girl that I am.
5. When was the last time you hurt a loved one?
Wow, what a difficult (and unpleasant) question. I guess the most *recent* thing is that I'm trying my best not to tear Wayne down in public. I know that a woman's words can be incredibly powerful - they can either build up a man, or tear him down. I might have made a joke here or there that probably wasn't very sensitive, but I'm trying my best to tame the tongue and give my husband more respect in front of others. After all, if anyone disrespected my husband or said anything negative about him in front of me, I myself would probably be really pissed. It's one thing to insult me, but if you touch my husband, I'll smack you. I know that's a double standard, but hey, he's my husband, not yours.
