All Grown Up
A while back my brother told me that I am no longer considered "young adult" anymore because of my age, and especially because of my marital status (we'll be hitting our 3rd anniverary in a couple months - yay!). Anyways, he says I'm just... "adult". I was very upset at his comment and asked Wayne what he thought of what Danny just told me. He muttered something about how it sounded right. (But then again, Wayne's turning the big 3-0 this year, and I just turned 27 just last November.)
At what point do you drop the "young" in "young adult"? When do you officially become a full fledged "adult"? (I have married friends well into their 30's who still watch anime and play video games nonstop. Does that count?) I suppose there is a difference between being a "kid at heart" versus being "childish". Some people don't think you mature until you drop both. I would like to think that those that still remain young at heart can still enjoy life without letting the rigidness of "adult" life bring them down.
P.S. Will post my Singapore/Malaysia pics soon.
