I think Wayne and I have a problem waking up on time during the weekends. We missed church completely today. It was pretty funny. But we did make it for lunch with Enoch and Priscilla (who took me out for a birthday lunch). They persuaded Wayne to not pay either, because they are taking me out for my birthday, and he's one flesh with me. =P I spent the entire afternoon looking at turkey recipes online (I'm roasting my very first turkey tommorrow for the CAT potluck) and I am totally freaked out. Never did this before... never seen anyone do it before. I'm hoping to roast the turkey, do stuffing, and even do gravy on my own too. Cross your fingers that I don't poison people tomorrow (or give them diarrhea).

Chris and Audrey came over, and we took them to A Taste of Thai in downtown. That place rocks. It was a good time of getting to know them and answering all of Audrey's questions about residency and what life in Sac is like (she's interviewing at Mercy tommorrow morning). Got a chance to get to know Chris too. Since they are engaged and in the midst of lovely wedding planning, we gave some tips. I think Chris is slightly stressed out about it, so whatever we said, hope it eases his nerves. After dinner, we called Leonard and Janelle, and they came over to hang out briefly.

Chris also gave me some turkey tips... and recommended that I not cook the stuffing in the turkey, but do it separately. Good idea... I'll do that. We'll see how the bird turns out tommorrow. I'm so nervous....
