I would have slept in today, if it weren't for my husband. He tickled me out of bed, and I grumpily got up. The day before, Tracy had called me to tell me about a job fair going on all day Saturday, so we went to Staples to print out some of my resumes and I dressed up and hopped over to Folsom. The job fair was a bit lame (only 20 organizations were there! Grrr) and we only stayed at the most 10 minutes before leaving. I picked up brochures for Western Seminary (who knows, maybe I'll take a class or two) and something about Tentmaking Ministries. Other than that, it was quite uneventful. Then since we were in the area, we went to Crate & Barrel in Roseville to finish off our registry, and then furniture-browsing in Expo and Macys. I'm in love with the 4-sectional couches there... ahhhh... but we have no money, so it was basically window shopping until we have enough moolah for all the finer things in life.
Speaking of no money for shopping, I saw this LOVELY dress at VS for $98. I nearly cried when I saw the price tag. It's a simple black dress... a bit plain, but elegant and simple and sexy. That's my style. No need for fancy-smancy. I like it simple with a little edge. I've been eyeing this dress for nearly a month... hoping it'll be on sale or discounted soon... but looks like it isn't happening anytime soon =( What was funny though was that I sent a link of this dress to show Clement, and he nearly flipped out because I accidentally sent him a link to the general VS page (which probably showed a VS model clad in only a sexy bra and panties). It was quite hilarious to see his reaction, and I had to clarify exactly what item I was really wanting to purchase. Too funny (sorry Clem). =)
Anyways, tonight is Wayne's grandmother's birthday (dad's side). His parents are up, and we are all going to Jumbo Seafood for dinner tonight. Which means we better make reservations ASAP....
