Yesterday Wayne came home for lunch, and never went back to work (there were no fish in the sea, as he put it). We spent the entire afternoon running errands and hanging out. We drove around, looking for a dentist for ourselves, and an optomologist for myself. We drove down to Elk Grove to pick up a futon mattress from his grandparents, and they insisted we take home some of their home grown tomatoes and wintermelons (they have at least 20 home grown wintermelons just sitting in their garage). We did some wreath shopping in Michael's (didn't find anything we liked) and had a fast dinner at Baja Grill before rushing back to Sac to pick up Mike and Priscilla for bible study.

Bible study was cool. A good reminder for me, personally. I was in the same small group with Sue and Jerry. Sue thinks that some of this stuff is way over her head in terms of comprehension, but when I explain some of the stuff, she totally understands it. I don't think she's far from understanding some of this stuff. She probably just needs more encouragement, involvement, and a little pushing to continue learning her Braille (as Jerry did last night). It was cool being in the same group with Jerry too. I wish Wayne and I had more time to hang out with him. He reminds me of my younger brother. Except I think Danny is a bit more headstrong and stubborn than Jerry. (Don't get mad, Danny, but its really true) =P After bible study, Wayne and I came home, and I chatted online a bit. Wayne hijacked my sn and was talking to Cindy Y and Gene. When I got back from my midnight snack, I had to scroll up to make sure Wayne didn't say anything incriminating. =)

Today I'm heading off to campus, and running some more errands. I haven't heard from Dr. Torres yet (I turned my thesis in on Friday). So I'm a little nervous. But Cindy L tells me that no news is good news. I suppose so. =P
