Wednesday's Feast

1. Kalbi Kui (Korean Short Ribs)
Marinated overnight (soy sauce, brown sugar, green onion, garlic, sesame oil, rice wine, sesame seeds), broiled in my oven 5 min on one side, 2 min on the other.

2. Khagdugi (cubed radish kimchee)
Purchased from the local Korean market. I LOVE this.

3. Bak Tu Keh (Singaporean Pork Rib Tea Soup)
Wayne and I had purchased spice packets at local supermarkets when we went to Singapore a couple months back. Boiling with various spices/flavors and pork ribs until tender (I added fried tofu and napa cabbage to this too), this soup is not only delicious, but there's a hint of Chinese herbal taste to it too (no, not the yucky Chinese medicinal stuff, the good stuff) and the pork just literally falls off the bone.

4. Bok Choy w/ Shitake Mushrooms
Stir-fried with garlic and oil, and created a light brown sauce with oyster sauce, water, and a bit of cornstarch to thicken.

5. Steamed Rice
Can't have a menu like this without rice to sop up all those flavors!
